I started in Pacifica's Mythological Studies program in the Fall of 2004 with 28 other intrepid souls.  I'm not sure what we thought we were getting into, but it has turned out to be the most challenging, thought provoking, life changing course of study I've ever undertook.  I think my fellow Track E Year III classmates would agree.  Here we are in mid-June 2006 -- the photo was taken by our Hinduism/Buddhism professor and chair of the Myth Program, Dr. Patrick Mahaffey.  We are missing four folks from our cohort in this photo, two who had taken the Spring Quarter off, and two who were somewhere else on campus when we took the photo:

We're at the jumping off point here -- some of the class has chosen to move on to other academic programs and some have chosen not to continue forward beyond the M.A. degree.  Update: Half of my original class moved forward to the Ph.D program. As of this writing (May 2007) we are formulating our Dissertation topics, a process which has turned out to be remarkably emotional for a lot of us. We have just completed the 1st Drafts of our concept papers. The process continues ....

This was taken at Pacfica's 30th Anniversary Celebration weekend, held at the Ladera Campus.  I thought six 2nd year E Track Myth students amongst all those clinical and depth psychologists was a very good showing.  We ran into one of our professors on the 2nd day and he pronounced us "Hard Core". Update: Of the 6 of us in this picture, 4 of us are pursuing a Myth Ph.D: Elizabeth, Frances, Mahea, and myself. Dustin and Scott have gone off to another graduate program and a teaching position, respectively.

Pacifica Graduation May 27, 2007.

We tried to round up all of the E Track folk after the graduation ceremony, but I'm not sure we got everyone who was there (champagne was being served and that's so distracting). Even though we were granted our MAs last Fall, Pacifica holds graduation ceremonies only once a year, during Memorial Day weekend. Not everyone who finished the MA was able to travel to the graduation, but we still had a very good turnout from our class.
